From Partners for Sacred Places
We recently held our second annual national photo contest to shine a light on historic churches, synagogues, meetinghouses, temples, and mosques as civic spaces in their neighborhoods. The theme is "Third Place: Sacred Places Serving Their Neighborhoods." Amateurs and professionals alike entered their original photos, and the competition was fierce-the jury had to narrow down the categories from 288 entries!
The jury has selected winners for the categories:
· The Arts
· Education and Service
· Open Space
· Community Events
In addition to those jury winners, the public is invited to select "People's Choice" winners. Please vote in each category to support your favorites! Voting is open today, November 14, through Friday, December 5, and "People's Choice" and jury winners will be announced on December 15, 2025.
