The Program is intended for established scholars, or individuals who have attained distinction in their fields.

This is such a terrific opportunity!  Thank you for posting it here, Chandler.  I really enjoyed taking part in the Getty Conserving Modern Architecture course in 2021 and as a result I have a much deeper appreciation for the work of architectural conservation scholars.  This research is becoming increasingly and globally important, and I hope you will receive outstanding proposals from heritage practitioners.

I am also grateful to you, Jean Caroon and Eric Corey Freed for helping me articulate the value of this area of research for public agencies and the architects who work for them, especially in the higher education sector.  Members of the Historic Resources community might benefit from viewing the A'23 conference presentation that the Public Architects committee sponsored here: ScholarWorks@UMass Amherst - UMassBRUT Community: Taming the Brut: Education, Conservation and Advocacy
