Long story short, I decided to close my 4 person firm back in April. I contacted AutoDesk same day to let them know that I wanted to cancel my subscription. Their customer service rep said that I only needed to set my account to non- renew and then I wouldn't be charged for the seats subscription on the anniversary date in July.
Nonetheless, Autodesk sent me a bill last week saying that they were about to charge me for renewal on three seats. I responded immediately and told them I had cancelled the subscription. They said I had a contract for three years and they were going to charge me anyway. And further, there was no way for me to sell the seats.
Does anyone have any experience with terminating a subscription with AutoDesk? Please share what worked.
