There are many opportunities to volunteer with the AIA. This interest call is tailored to Associate AIA members, which includes students, emerging professionals in their first decade after college, senior professional working in firms, and non-licensed academics. We will walk through the governance structure of AIA National, the timeline for the Call for Volunteers (including the Assoc. AIA rep to the AIA Board of Directors!, NAC leadership and 70+ other committees), the required information for the applications, tips for navigating the opportunities to serve, and norms for serving as a national volunteer. We will leave plenty of time for questions at the end.
