Leveraging advanced integrated technologies to elevate resident and staff experience
November 19 | 12-1pm ET | Earn 1 AIA LU
Description
As residents in senior living facilities continue to become increasingly comfortable with technological advances, their environments need to be capable of providing enhanced experiences that meet their expectations. This session will discuss how to leverage advanced and integrated building systems and legacy technologies to enhance the experience for residents and staff while improving operational efficiency. The presentation will showcase a wide variety of exciting novel technologies including advanced lighting, POE, Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS), HVAC integrations and AI enhanced sensors. Beyond sustainability and potential cost, this presentation will explore considerations such as quality, functionality, intuitiveness, aesthetics, and our experience with owner satisfaction.
Identifying innovative technologies is the crucial first step. However, recognizing how residences, staff, and other users interact, understand, and relate to these is equally important. This presentation will discuss experiences and case studies for how education, signage, implementation, and selecting the most appropriate technologies for environments impact and enrich experiences.
