2010 CAE Fall Tour Event

Starts:  Oct 21, 2010 12:00 AM (ET)
Ends:  Oct 22, 2010 12:00 AM (ET)

Come join the Committee on Architecture for Education in beautiful, easily accessible, Salt Lake City, Utah, for our fun and educational fall event - Nothing but Tours! This conference is based on the idea that the most popular part of our CAE conferences is the tour component.  Salt Lake City, Utah, and the surrounding area, has many cutting edge school and higher education facilities, as well as the award-winning Salt Lake City Public Library, Utah’s second most visited tourist attraction. High tech programs, collaboration as a design foundation, and the building as a learning tool are some of the concepts that have roots in the Salt Lake area.

The event will take place on Thursday and Friday, October 21-22.  Arrive on Wednesday at the Salt Lake international airport, a Delta hub, which is easy and economical to fly into. Stay the weekend and visit the mountains, ski resorts or nearby national parks.  Go to the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau and learn more about this dynamic community.  Tours will commence on Thursday morning, followed by a social hour that evening.  On Friday, tours will continue with a wrap up late afternoon.  Attendees will see a wide variety of outstanding learning environments, and share in our continuing dialogue and collaboration regarding school design.
