    I'm on a quest to find past and current examples of "Impossible Projects" that have been brought to life through extended efforts of an individual Architect.  

    A problem, a design solution; but no money, interest, or client in sight; that was the case for Architect Robert Hugman when he began promoting the idea that eventually led to San Antonio's Riverwalk.  When Hugman moved his own office below street level he was told "You'll drown like a rat in your hole".

    My goal: gather eight to ten very short video clips to include in a presentation at the 2013 convention on this interesting form of 'Architectural Leadership'.  I intend to build on the framework of a 7 minute KTalk that is on line here:
