For 135 million, you can purchase the Crespi Hicks estate just outside of Dallas. It was built in 1939 and the original owner lived their until her death in 1999. I love the way he describes estate homes in the first couple of paragraphs and thought that it was a nice compliment for all residential architects. I thought this quote in particular was very nice.
