Any resources for architects for investigating fire damage in structures? Would plan on structural systems and M/E/P systems would be evaluated by an engineer.

    John:
California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (OES) has a Post-Disaster Safety Assessment Program (SAP).  Although the training is heavily focused on assessing structures damaged from the more prevalent natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes), it does mention that fires might be cause for safety assessments as well.
The safety assessment procedures aren't necessarily specific to a particular type of disaster; they focus on impacts to building integrity that could result from any type of disaster.  One of the materials included in the training I took was "Procedures for Postearthquake safety evaluation of buildings" from the Applied Technology Council; it has some very good checklists for different structural types of buildings and also general building issues (e.g. falling hazards) that you may be able to use.  Short story is that you'd be likely looking for compromised systems and hazards in your fire damaged structures.
