RATIO Architects, Inc. is looking for a talented, energetic Historic Preservation Architect to join our design studio in Indianapolis, Indiana. Qualified candidates should have a Master's degree in Architecture and/or Historic Preservation or a related discipline and possesses 5-7 years of practical field experience. Candidates should have experience with the implementation of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties in Preservation, Rehabilitation, Restoration and Reconstruction.
Candidates will act as Project Architect on various preservation and restoration projects. Typical services may include research and documentation, condition assessment studies, analyzing building materials in conjunction with conservation consultants, developing recommendations, preparing construction documents and specifications, and providing construction observation.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in all phases of project delivery, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Additional skill with Rhino, 3D Max, and/or the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign considered a plus.
